What does "the best-hardened mineral glass" mean? Is it sapphire glass or something else?

    Hi Aaron,

Mineral glass is a scratch and impact-resistant glass most commonly used in watchmaking. It has superb reflective properties, strength, and clarity. The major benefit of mineral glass is that it is both more scratch resistant than acrylic glass and, more importantly, it can be polished to regain its gloss and it won't shatter upon impact like a sapphire crystal would.

I hope this answered your question :-)
